Florida tech leader Arnie Bellini focuses time and money on Florida’s ‘green infrastructure’

Arnie Bellini has financed education and talent development to support a sustainable Tampa Bay technology community.

Now, the Tampa technologist, entrepreneur and philanthropist is making the same connection to Florida’s ecology.

After founding tech firm ConnectWise in Tampa, Bellini sold it in 2019 to Thoma Bravo for an estimated $1.5 billion. Overnight, more than 70 colleagues of the employee-owned firm became millionaires. Soon after, Bellini pledged $70 million to create 70,000 tech jobs and with his wife, Lauren, made large gifts to the University of South Florida and his alma mater Tampa Catholic High School.
