Connect with Florida’s birdlife on a guided birdwatching walk through two of St. Augustine’s most iconic landscapes. Led by experienced birders from the St. Augustine Bird Club and St. Johns Regional Audubon, this one-hour tour is ideal for beginners and seasoned birders alike. *

Experience the wild side of St. Augustine with five special eco-adventures! These guided boat and kayak tours offer an up-close look at the region’s rich marine life, scenic waterways, and coastal ecosystems.
Boat Tour:
This 90-minute tour features dolphin and bird watching, marine ecology, and views of historic landmarks—all while cruising through scenic rivers and creeks with expert naturalist guides.
Kayak Tour:
Departing from downtown St. Augustine, this 2-hour paddle includes a short on-land clinic before heading under the Bridge of Lions and into the salt marshes. No experience is necessary!

Explore one of Florida’s most significant cultural and natural landmarks. Fort Mose Historic State Park is home to the site of the first legally sanctioned free African settlement in what would become the United States. This 40-acre waterfront park features a full-scale reconstruction of the original 18th-century fort, offering a powerful, self-guided experience of culture and history.
Visitors can walk the grounds, observe local birdlife from the park’s boardwalk, explore exhibits in the on-site museum, or enjoy scenic spots for picnicking and kayaking.

Explore the natural beauty of Florida through the eyes of artists who were inspired by its wild waters. Wild Waters features nearly 40 paintings from the Florida Art Collection at the Harn Museum of Art, organized into four themes—Rivers, Lakes, Wetlands, and Coast. These works, created between 1871 and 1965, offer a striking reflection of Florida’s landscapes—past and present—and inspire conversations about conservation in our state today.
Set in the historic Governor’s House in downtown St. Augustine, this self-guided exhibit invites you to connect with Florida’s water-rich ecosystems and the Florida Wildlife Corridor in a new, artistic way.
Presented by the Harn Museum of Art in partnership with the UF Center for Landscape Conservation Planning.
