MISSION
Live Wildly’s mission is the long-term protection of Florida’s lands and waters, starting with a permanently connected Florida Wildlife Corridor. The Corridor, established in 2021, is an 18-million-acre network of lands and waters stretching from the Everglades to the Panhandle. It not only provides habitat for almost 2,000 different species – including the iconic Florida panther, manatees, and the Gopher tortoise, but also supports more than 100,000 jobs and generates $30 billion in annual revenue through recreation, tourism, agriculture and other industries.

Real stress relief comes from being in nature, not just seeing it. 🌿
A new University of Florida study looked at adults 45+ and how stress relates to urban trees and green spaces.
Researchers found that the number of trees near your home doesn’t reduce stress on its own. Instead, frequent visits to parks, trails, or other green spaces had the biggest impact. Daily or weekly time outdoors significantly lowered stress, while infrequent visits were linked to higher stress levels.
The takeaway: regular, meaningful time in nature matters more than just living near it.

As we wrap up 2025, we’re ending the year celebrating a big win! 🎉
At this year’s Sing Out Loud Music Festival, together we raised $130K for conservation in St. Johns County-supporting both the St. Johns County Land Acquisition Program and the City of St. Augustine’s Land Acquisition Program.
Beyond the numbers, this year took us on countless Florida adventures and gave us the chance to share our love for wild Florida with so many of you.
The Live Wildly team will cherish this chapter as we look forward to what’s next in 2026.

On December 17, the State of Florida approved funding for the permanent conservation of 21,553 acres across four properties within the Florida Wildlife Corridor.
Thank you to the leadership of the landowners, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, U.S. Air Force REPI program, Family Lands Remembered, and other partners for coming together to make these opportunities possible.
The properties are Tilton Family Farms (Photo 1), Siboney Ranch (Photo 2), and Coastal Headwaters Longleaf Forest Project – Evergreen Timberco (Photo 3).
Siboney Ranch and Tilton Family Farms are to be protected through a rural lands conservation easement funded through the Rural and Family Lands Protection Program at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Coastal Headwaters Longleaf Forest Project – Evergreen Timberco is to be protected through a conservation easement funded through Florida Forever at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. 10,996 acres were approved for delegated authority to the Department of Environmental Protection within the Caloosahatchee / Big Cypress Corridor Project.
