Misty Wells

Misty Wells is proud to be a Florida Native, born and raised in her hometown of Clearwater, Florida.  Misty is an “Outdoor Personality” and is a Producer and Host on one of the fastest growing outdoor, adventure, travel shows in the USA “Let’s Take it Outside”.   “Let’s Take it Outside” is now airing to over 220 million viewers, in 50 countries and in over 20 languages on Discovery Channel, Discovery GO & Plus and 15 other networks Worldwide.  Her Social Media presence on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok and other platforms is growing by the thousands as her media airs across the USA, to Canada down to the Caribbean and beyond. 

Misty is an award-winning Producer and Host, recently winning a Silver Telly award in Travel & Tourism TV, keeping in stride with industry heavy weights (also winning a Silver Telly) Chip and Joanna Gaines-Magnolia Network and Samantha Brown Media.   

Misty is the 1st female host of an outdoor show on Fox Sports and is also an avid and award winning “outdoor writer” her Articles and Columns have appeared in the Tampa Bay Times, Woods n Water, Coastal Angler, Field & Stream, Florida Sportsman, and Sunseekers In-Flight magazine to name a few.  Misty has also won numerous additional awards such as Amplify Stellar Award-Hospitality Hero, FOWA Youth Conservation Award, Everyday Hero Bay News 9, Hometown Hero Fox 13 and Golden Star Award Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches. Misty has been featured in the Nationally syndicated show on NBC “Everyday Hero” showcasing her work with foster children, conservation, and outdoor education.  Misty is an official Educator for the International Game Fish Association (IGFA), an Official Outdoor Pro for Bass Pro Shops and has joined the ranks of Adventurists with the Live Wildly Foundation.   

Misty serves on the Boards of many organizations such as Ocean Allies and helps lead the charge in outdoor conservation and education in the State of Florida.  Misty has been called upon by leaders such as Mayors, Congressmen, Governors, and State Officials to participate in State conservation programs, education and youth leadership.  Misty is a profound public speaker in the realm of Tourism, Outdoor Adventure Travel, Conservation and Youth Education.  Misty has spoken at the Florida Governor’s Conference, Outdoor Travel Writers Association, Florida Outdoor Writers Association and has spoken and presented at numerous outdoor expos’ and shows across the country.   

Alongside Live Wildly, Misty will be launching a new series spanning across the country in 79 Markets in 154 outlets on “Daytime” WFLA Channel 8.  Misty’s new bi-weekly segments will feature the Wildlife Corridor of Florida, Florida State and Local Parks, along with the great outdoors of the State.  She will be showing viewers how to “take it outside” throughout the State and asking viewers the question “What’s your Wild”?
