5 Ways to Stop Scrolling and Explore Wild Florida

1. Go for a Paddle
Tuck your phone safely away in your life jacket and grab a paddle. Florida has thousands of miles of navigable water, from serene routes through the mangroves to saltwater kayaking on the Gulf Coast. Haven’t paddled before? No sweat. Many state parks and popular paddling areas offer guided tours for first-timers.
2. Take a Nature Walk
We get it; sometimes, taking a “hike” feels too intense. Leave all the complications behind and go on a casual stroll through nature in a nearby city, county, or state park. Soak in a little bit of sun, enjoy the beauty of a blooming plant, or simply take deep breaths of the fresh air. Studies show that it can have a positive impact on your mental and physical health!
